COMMUNITY pubs in the West Midlands are celebrating the new football season by giving away £10,000 in cash.
The Sunday Social £10,000 Giveaway, sponsored by Sky, will run every Sunday until September 20.
Pubs taking part include The Castle in Dudley, and The Ashwood Inn and The Jolly Crispin in Stourbridge.
Fans can participate by being among the first 100 eligible adults to enter participating pubs from 3pm to receive a raffle ticket.
The featured late Sunday fixture will be shown, and the live reveal will determine if a pub has been selected for the giveaway.
If selected, a draw will take place within 15 minutes of the final whistle.
The winner, who must be present, will receive £1,000 in cash.
On Bank Holiday Sunday, August 30, five pubs will be selected, each awarding £1,000, amounting to a total of £5,000 for the afternoon.
Even if a pub is not selected for the main cash prize, a raffle will still be held for a free drink.
The Castle in Dudley, and the Ashwood Inn and the Jolly Crispin in Stourbridge are part of Proper Pubs, the award-winning community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns, with more than 200 pubs across England, Scotland, and Wales.
