Police are still appealing for information to identify two men in connection with the distraction theft of an 80-year old man in Dudley earlier this month.
In fresh statement on August 25, a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "Officers are continuing to investigate, but no arrests have been made yet. "
"We would urge anyone who recognises the men to come forward and speak to us."
The distraction theft of a man in his 80s took place on August 3, where cash was stolen from the pensioner on Dudley High street.
The community in Dudley and surrounding areas would subsequently band together following the incident, with £860 being returned to the elderly victim following a fundraiser by Lockside Steakhouse in Stourbridge.
