KINVER-based workplace wellbeing provider New Leaf Health has marked its 30th anniversary with a community event and a £300 pledge towards the development of Jubilee Gardens.
The company, founded in 1996, held a birthday gathering at the Edward Marsh Centre in Kinver on Friday, August 21.
Clients, local businesses, councillors, friends and family attended the event, which looked back at the firm’s three decades of work supporting employee health and wellbeing.
Guests were able to view archive photographs and artefacts from the company’s history, while free health checks were offered using its medical equipment.
The afternoon also included over-the-clothes massages and a health quiz.
Food and a 30th birthday cake were supplied by Kinver business The Olde House Tearooms, with guests also raising a Prosecco toast to the milestone.
New Leaf Health said it had pledged £300 to Kinver Parish Council to support ongoing work at Jubilee Gardens, giving back to the village where the business has been based throughout its existence.
The company works with organisations across the UK and provides services including employee health checks, mental health training and workplace counselling.
Founder Phil Olding said reaching the anniversary was an important moment for the firm.
He said: “Reaching 30 years is a real milestone, and it felt only right to mark it here in Kinver, surrounded by the people who’ve been part of our story.
“We’ve grown a great deal since 1996, but our purpose hasn’t changed: helping people live healthier, happier working lives.
“Being able to give something back to Kinver, which has played a huge role in our history, made the day all the more special.”
New Leaf Health is a member of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce and said it continues to work with businesses and organisations of different sizes across the country.
The £300 donation will support Kinver Parish Council’s plans for Jubilee Gardens.
