A REMEMBRANCE walk will take place this weekend, offering an evening of reflection and support for a vital cause.

The Edge of Light Walk will return on Sunday, September 27, offering a new route, scenic evening views across Kinver and live music at sunset.

The walk aims to raise funds for The Mary Stevens Hospice, which provides specialist palliative care for people across the Black Country and surrounding areas.

Beginning at Kinver High School at 5.30pm, participants will follow a route toward Kinver Edge as night falls, offering time for reflection and remembrance.

James Totney, deputy head of fundraising, said: "The Edge of Light Walk is always an incredibly special evening, giving people the opportunity to come together and remember loved ones.

"We're excited to introduce a brand-new route this year, and the addition of live music.

"Most importantly, every person who signs up and raises funds will be helping The Mary Stevens Hospice continue providing specialist palliative care for people across the Black Country and surrounding areas."
