Bin collection days are set to change as part of a council review.
The changes will take effect from November 16, 2026, following a review by Sandwell Council and its waste collection partner, Serco.
Some households across Sandwell will see changes to their collection day, while others may have different bins collected each week.
Ray Nock, leader of Sandwell Council, said: "Residents have told us they want reliable bin collections and a simple service they can depend on.
"We've listened and made changes to help improve collections across Sandwell.
"Reviews like this are a normal part of managing a waste collection service, and we’re investing in additional crews to help us strengthen the service for our residents.
"I'd like to thank residents for their continued support, including their efforts to recycle more to create a cleaner and greener Sandwell."
The council has added three extra collection crews to help support the service.
Residents affected by the changes will receive a leaflet explaining their new collection arrangements, along with a calendar showing which bins to put out on each date.
The council continues to encourage residents to recycle as much as possible and to ensure only the correct items are placed in each bin to reduce contamination and increase recycling rates.
More information, including how to check your collection day or download a calendar, is available at www.sandwell.gov.uk/bins.
The changes are part of a 12-month review of the council's alternate weekly collections system.
